Check the Internet Connection
Most streaming devices like Netflix will not work if there is no proper network connection. A good internet connection makes the video streamed on Netflix run smoother. Your network can buffer due to climatic conditions or because of some network glitches. If you are experiencing a bad network connection, then you can restart your WiFi and modem. The recommended internet speed for Netflix is 5 Mbps.
If your Android TV is getting a stable and adequate internet connection, you can try the next fix.
Check the Compatibility
Netflix will not work if you have the older version of Android TV. Netflix is compatible with the Android version from 4.4.2. If you have any compatibility issues, you will get the pop-up, “This version of the Netflix App is not compatible with your device (-13).” To check the current version of your Android TV, go to Settings and select About System. You cannot view Netflix’s certain content in other countries. Sometimes, the streaming app will detect VPNs and won’t allow you to stream any content. In that situation, disable the VPN and enable it again.
Clear Cache on Netflix App

- Netflix Error NQL.2303 – You will receive this issue when you have any issues with your Netflix account on your Android TV. In this case, you can try signing out of the app and signing in again.
- Netflix Error NQM.407 – This error occurs when you have any payment issues with your Netflix account. It can also occur when your card gets expires. Update the payment info to resolve the issue.
- Netflix Error S7111-11101 – This issue will occur when you have an issue with your browser while using Netflix. Try to use a different browser on your Android TV to solve the issue.

Power Cycle Android TV
Power cycling can also resolve the Netflix app not working issue that you are facing on your Android TV. In fact, it can also clear the minor issues on your Android Smart TV.
1. Unplug the power cable of your Android TV from the power outlet.
2. Long press the Power button, which is present on the back side of your Android TV, for 5-10 seconds.

Update Android TV
Apps and streaming services like Netflix do not work on the older versions of Android TV. Netflix will work on the Android Version from 4.7.2 and above. If your Android TV does not have this version, then it is time to update your Android TV.

3. If a new update is available, then click on the Update button.

Reset Android TV
Doing a factory reset on Android TV will erase all the data, like all the apps, channels, device data, parental locks, and wireless network settings. After that, you have to start the installation process from the beginning. You can sync all your apps and data with your Google account to recover the data and apps after performing a factory reset on your Android TV.
1. Go to Settings on your Android TV.
2. Then, click on Device Preference and click on Storage & Reset.
3. Click Factory Data Reset to reset your TV.
4. Tap the Erase everything button to complete the reset.
5. After the factory reset, you can install the Netflix app on your Android TV and check if it working properly or not.
