How to Install and Access iVMS 4500 on Android TV

With the iVMS-4500 app, you can access any CCTV live footage using the WiFi connection. By installing the iVMS 4500 app on your Android TV, you can monitor your home surrounding just by tapping a button. For instance, iVMS-4500 supports videos from embedded DVR, NVR, network camera, and more.

You can add your CCTV camera to the iVMS-4500 app in five different ways. Manual Adding, Scan QR Code, Wi-Fi configuration, Online Device, and Generate QR Code. Based on your CCTV model, you can pick any of these methods. You can download and access the iVMS-4500 app for free without any subscription.

The iVMS 4500 app is not available on the Play Store. You have to sideload the app on your Android TV using the Downloader app.

How to Access iVMS 4500 on Android TV

1. Turn on your Android TV and launch the Google Play Store.

2. Click on the Search icon and search for the Downloader app.

3. Select the Downloader app and select the Install button.

4. In the same way, install the Sideload Launcher on Android TV to access the APK files.

5. To sideload apps on Android TV, you have to make some changes to the Android TV. Go to the Settings menu of your Android TV.

6. On the menu, click on the Device Preferences option.

7. Choose the Security & Restrictions option.

8. Click on the Unknown Sources option on the menu.

9. Click on the Downloader app and enable the toggle.

10. Launch the Downloader app on your Android TV.

11. Select the Allow option when a prompt appears on your screen.

12. Download the AFTVnews Plugin by using the URL (browser.aftvnews.com). Without the plugin, you can’t install any APK files on the Downloader app.

13. Now, enter the iVMS-4500 Android TV APK URL in the search bar.

14. To download the APK file, click on the Go option.

15. Then, tap the Install button to download the iVMS-4500 APK on your TV.

16. Once the installation completes, launch the iVMS-4500 app.

How to Use iVMS 4500 on Android TV

1. Open the iVMS 4500 app on your Android TV.

2. To register a new device, click the Menu button and choose the Devices option.

3. On the Devices menu, tap the Plus icon.

4. You will get five options. Choose an option that suits your CCTV camera or any other device.

5. Enter all the asking information in the specified area.

6. When it is done, your security device will be added to the iVMS 4500 app.

7. Click the Live View button to get the live feed on your Android TV.

8. If you want to watch the past videos, click the Remote Playback option.

9. Enter the date and time that you need and watch the feed.

10. If you want, you can also download the specific feed from the app to your offline storage.
